Characteristics of the Industrial Zone
Strategic Industrial Zone Triangle
Is located in the middle of Europe, in the Czech Republic between the cities of Most, Chomutov, Louny and Žatec. It is owned by the Ústí Region. SPZ Triangle, a contributory organisation, manages the Industrial Zone Triangle with effect from 2013. The Industrial Zone is among the six strategic industrial zones in the Czech Republic. Out of the total usable area of 364 hectares of land are currently available for the implementation of investment projects of large, medium-sized and small businesses, especially from manufacturing industry, technology centres, research and development. It is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the CzechInvest - Business and Investment Development Agency.
The Strategic Industrial Zone Triangle is situated on the border of three districts - Chomutov, Most and Louny, in the area of the former Žatec military airport which is well located, and the site has excellent connections to the motorway network. The area is served by the D7 Motorway Prague - Chomutov - Mount Sv. Šebestián / Reitzenhain (Germany) and it is in close proximity (approx. 1 km) to the expressway I / 27 Most - Žatec - Plzeň. The area of The Industrial Zone is serviced by main roads with sufficient capacity that were built to service the zone. The plots that are available individually are located within a distance of 25 meters from these specific roads. These roads are connected to the D7 motorway and the I/27 road by multi-level junctions.
In the territory of The Triangle Strategic Industrial Zone, plots of land of various sizes are ready for sale. There are no obstacles (physical or administrative) on these plots that would prevent the immediate start of preparations for the construction of new industrial halls. The short version of the final report on the course of groundwater remediation in The Industrial Zone is available at the Director Department of the Ústí Region. All connection points to the already existing full-capacity engineering networks are located at a distance of 20 - 40 meters from the border of plots that are intended for sale. In the case of standard construction of common production halls, the production of which will not compromise the environment, it seems feasible to complete both preparation and implementation of the construction of such halls within 12 months. However, it is necessary for the investor and his design and engineering company that is in charge of preparation of the construction to work closely with all state administration bodies that issue individual partial zoning and construction decisions.
